App Compatible Products
The Soundwave Art™ app is available for select products. Compatible artwork must have the app feature added and programmed before the app can recognize it.
App-Compatible Products
The app can be added to the following products:
- Prints
- Canvas
- Aluminum prints
- Framed prints
- Framed canvas
- Layered wood
When ordering an eligible product, select the option to add the Soundwave Art™ app feature. Your artwork will then arrive programmed and ready to scan.
After receiving it, download the free Soundwave Art™ app:
What Can the App Play?
The app can connect compatible artwork to:
- Personal voice recordings
- Videos
- Wedding vows
- A child’s voice
- Pet sounds
- Original music
- Properly licensed or royalty-free music
You must own the submitted audio or video or have permission to use it. Purchasing or streaming a copyrighted song does not ordinarily provide permission to upload and play it through the app.
What If I Did Not Add the App Feature When Ordering?
If you previously purchased compatible artwork from Soundwave Art but did not add the app feature, you may add it afterward:

Can Artwork Purchased Elsewhere Use the App?
In some cases, existing artwork that was not purchased from us can be made interactive through the app:

Products That Do Not Use the App
The following products use NFC technology instead of our app
- Ironwood Soundwave Art™ necklaces
- Walnut, maple, and basswood Soundwave Art™
Products That Are Not Playable
Rings are not playable with either technology.
