How to design a photo with Soundwave overlay

This guide will cover each option when creating your art.

UPLOAD YOUR FILES: Upload a photo and an audio file or video. Your photo and Soundwave will appear in the display areas. The layout will depend on the orientation of the photo you upload. When you upload your photo, our design tool will show you the recommended print size based on the resolution of your photo. This will appear just above the play, stop, and crop buttons.

CROP SOUNDWAVE PATTERN: If you have some blank space at the beginning and end of your Soundwave pattern, you can crop it by clicking the Crop Soundwave button. Click on the red bars and slide them to crop your pattern, anything in between the two lines will be kept. When you click save the cropped pattern will display in your preview area. Important note: If you plan to add our app feature to play your art and you crop a portion of the audio that you want to play, make sure you upload your full audio or video file again AFTER you save your design in the third tab (don't re-upload it in step 1). You'll do this when you are redirected to the product options page after saving your full image.

SOUNDWAVE AND PHOTO ADJUSTMENT: You can select the color of your soundwave, adjust the line thickness, height, spacing and photo placement in this section. Adjust the Soundwave controls until you are happy with the pattern. If you want to adjust the placement of your phot use the Photo zoom slider, then move the photo left, right, up, or down using those sliders.

ADD A MESSAGE: Select tab 2 so you can type a message to be displayed below your Soundwave. The limit is three lines and 100 characters total. Press enter if you want to add a second line. Select your font color, choose from multiple fonts, align left, center, or right, and choose your font size.

SAVE YOUR DESIGN: Go to tab 3 when you are finished designing your art. You'll see the recomended print size which is based on the resolution of the photo you uploaded. Remember this when you go to the product selection page so you select the size that will print best. Review your design and make sure everythings good and is spelled correctly as this is the exact image that will be used for production. When you click the save button it can take a minute or two for you to be redirected. This depends on how large the files are. Pleasae be patient.

PRODUCT SELECTIONS AND PURCHASE: As soon as your files are uploaded you'll be directed to the product selection page.Use the side bar to select the product you want as well as the size (keep in mind the recommended print size). If you want to make your art playable with our Soundwave Art app you can add that here. If you do add our app feature and want it to play something other than the file you used to create your Soundwave pattern you can upload it here. You'll also have the option to send the order directly to product or you can request another proof. If you request a proof it can take up to 14 hours for us to send it to you. This depends on the time of day you order. Most of the time it is much quicker. When you are finised with your selections click the Add to Bag button to complete your purchase.
