Creating a Photo Soundwave

Step 1: Upload Tab

Upload your audio/video file, then your photo. TIP: Longer audio files work best. Short audio recordings offer very little room for your photo to show through the design. Your photo should have plenty of space around the subject(s).

If you need to crop your audio recording, click the Crop Soundwave tool button. Slide the red bars at the beginning and end of the pattern to remove blank space. Then click save to load the cropped pattern. If you crop a part of the audio recording that you want to be played should you add our app feature, please upload your audio file again after you save your design and make your product selection. You'll see the place to do this when you select your product and size options.

Step 2: Design Tab

The design tab is where you will choose the background color and adjust your photo to fit within the sound wave pattern. To adjust your photo, use the photo zoom slider to zoom in on your photo. This will allow you to use the up/down and left/right sliders to place your photo. You can also use the line thickness slider to change the thickness of the lines. There is also a Boost Fill button that expands the pattern if your sound wave is too small.

Step 3: Text Tab

If you'd like to include a message under your Photo Soundwave, use this option to type your message, choose your font color, font style, and placement.

Step 4: Save

When you are happy with your design, use this tab to look everything over and make sure to check for spelling errors. This will also recommend the largest print size based on the photo that you upload. Use this recommendation when you move on to the next step (product selection and purchase) so you know the largest size you should select. When you click save your design it will be uploaded to our server, and you'll be directed to make your product selections, click add to bag, then purchase your Photo Soundwave.
